Ganesh Subramaniyam - The nano Sculptor
 
                     Born in1975 at Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala in India as the third son of Sri Subramaniyan Achari and Smt Kamalam. After education, he turned into the traditional job of jewelry making. Today his smithery contains world's unique and subtlest gold sculptures, "A boat and boatman" carved in a gold granule of 30 mg was his primal nano sculpture. He has finished more than fifty number of sculptures so far which includes a working model of a tiny number lock. It is extra ordinarily beautiful and perfect and could only be viewed and operated by a magnifying lens. It has been rated as the tiniest number lock ever made and has  won an acclamation from World Record Association,Hong kong in 2013 and from Elite world Record, London in 2014 and also from diginitaries like former President of India Late Sri A.P.J Abdul kalam, His Highness Late Sri Uthradom Thirunal Maharaja,renowned Sculptor Sri. Kanayi Kunhiraman,famous actor Padma Shri Mohanlal etc.


It requires a long effort and concentration in the making of nano sculptures .A mere negligence in attention may ruin the result of continuous effort of months. Ganesh has received many  awards which includes a golden souvenir from Maharaja of Travancore Late His Highness Sri Uthradom Thirunal and porkaiar mamoni award from chennai jewellery association,prashasthi pathra from karunasayi sycho park, from various cultural and social organizations. In 2018, He was awarded a doctorate by the International Tamil University for his discoveries in nanocrafts.
